Learn how to make beautiful jewellery with precious and semiprecious materials or design and make simple silver objects using traditional silversmithing techniques.
Workshops are run as weekly evening classes or Saturday day courses (by request). There are set projects for the beginner (where we would start with a simple ring) or master classes for the more experienced. Class sizes will be no larger than 4 people at a time. Grant has been established as a silversmith for eleven years, exhibiting in Britain and abroad. He has also worked as a jeweller for over 15 years and has a broad knowledge of the subject.

Choose a simple garment and discover how to make it in this three hour taster workshop with tailor Stephen Shoebridge covering pattern reading, measurements, tools and equipment, fabric selection, linings, interlinings and sewing machine set up and operation. Learning the basics of sewing will allow you to take on more complex and adventurous projects and move onto a longer Dressmaking/Sewing Skills course to be run at The School.
